In addition, on her podcast she detailed her parenting style based on personal belief - believing her approach will best benefit their son.
Why Is She Controversial?
Meghan Markle led an eventful life as an actress, activist and entrepreneur before her relationship with Prince Harry became public. However, not everyone approved of Meghan's choices; consequently she has experienced significant criticism since their relationship was made known to the world.
As the first openly black woman to marry into the Royal Family, Meghan has been subjected to much controversy from both media outlets and members of her own family. Many media outlets have reported instances of racist discrimination towards Meghan that have spanned across several days or weeks - from gossip columns and television news programs all the way through family reunions and funerals.
Even prior to her engagement to Harry, the press was highly critical of Meghan's career choice. Some felt she was too old for the role and some focused on her finances.
As a result, her image in the public sphere was marred. After giving birth in 2018, she decided to step away from acting and focus on charity work instead - although critics still accused her of giving up Hollywood or neglecting her children by choosing that path instead of charity work. Other complain about wardrobe malfunctions or wardrobe mishaps including when she accidentally wore see-through skirt without anyone realizing.

Meghan Markle has built an illustrious career as an actress, writer, blogger, humanitarian, and member of the royal family - she even earned her title of Duchess of Sussex at her marriage to Prince Harry in 2018. Together they had one child, whom they named Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor after Princess Diana.
Before she met Prince Harry, Markle was best-known for her role as Rachel Zane on the television legal drama Suits. Additionally, she appeared as a bit player in several Hollywood films such as Get Him to the Greek, Remember Me and Horrible Bosses as well as acting as briefcase girl on Deal or No Deal in America.
